about the program

Stoddart Group is committed to providing a safe workplace for everyone in line with our company value of "We Care for our People”. 

The purpose of our "Always Safe Rewards" program is to promote health and safety through positive reinforcement of observed safe behaviours and reward those who actively support a good safety culture at Stoddart Group workplaces and sites.

ELIGIBILITY

This program applies to all Business Units in Stoddart Group and all Stoddart Group sites including construction, warehouses, office and manufacturing facilities.

The following individuals are eligible to participate in the "Always Safe Rewards" program:

  • All salary and wages employee’s regardless of employment status

  • All contractors and their workers

  • All labour hire, apprentices, and trainee workers

AWARDS

The following individual rewards will be presented each calendar month.

  • First random selection to receive a $250.00 Gift Card of their choice from a range of selected businesses.

  • Second random selection to receive a $100.00 Gift Card of their choice from a range of selected businesses.

  • Third random selection to receive a $50.00 Gift Card of their choice from a range of selected businesses.

As part of the above rewards the first random selection may also nominate a charity of their choice to receive a separate $50.00 donation from Stoddart Group.

All individual award recipients in each business quarter will also be entered into a random selection for a voucher up to $500.00 towards a Team function (eg. BBQ or lunch).

NOMINATION CRITERIA

The following are examples of behaviours or actions for which a person may be nominated. The criteria are not limited to the below.

  • Having a safety idea implemented resulting in safer work conditions.

  • Actively identifying hazards and playing a key role in the solution.

  • Contributing to the improvement of existing documented safe work procedures and processes.

  • Participating in coaching to improve the safety knowledge of a broader team.

  • Developing a safety initiative that leads to risk reduction (eg using a safer tool or item of equipment for a task).

  • Displaying safety leadership which results in improved safety culture.

  • Excellent safety review or feedback by customer or other parties.

  • Other examples of outstanding health and safety performance.
